On 5 December 2019, Beijing 2022 signed its tenth First-tier Official Partner. The People’s Insurance Company (Group) of China Limited (PICC Group) became an Official Partner of the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games Beijing 2022.
Han Zirong, Full-Time Vice President and Secretary General of Beijing 2022, signed the partnership agreement with Bai Tao, President of PICC Group, in a ceremony held at the Organising Committee’s Shougang headquarters.
Cai Qi, Secretary of the CPC Beijing Municipal Committee and President of Beijing 2022, attended the signing ceremony. Beijing 2022 Executive President Zhang Haidi (Chairperson of the China Disabled Persons’ Federation) and Beijing 2022 Executive Vice President Zhang Jiandong (Vice Mayor of Beijing) were also present.

Zhang Jiandong praised PICC Group’s role in serving the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games and expressed high hopes for the company in its second Olympic journey.
“We hope that PICC Group will make persistent efforts to give full play to its professional advantages to provide efficient and professional property & casualty insurance services for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games Beijing 2022,” Zhang said.

A total of seven Official Sponsors have been signed, including Tsingtao Beer, Yanjing Beer, Arawana, Shunxin, Cultural Investment Holdings, Beijing Beiao Group and HYX. Two Official Exclusive Suppliers have also been signed - EF Education First and iFLYTEK.
